I think that Twilight sucks and is a pastiche of other vampire novels and plot lines.
Moreover, I really REALLY hate Meyer's style of vapid and incongruously painful writing, I mean, who the hell wants to know what happens to Bella on a freaking SECOND-to-SECOND basis?
I think in NO WAY is...
1. I watched Dexter and Inspector Rex for most of Stuvac
2. I didn't study thirteen hours a day like my parents thought I did, but only nine hours
3. I really didn't give a shit about MX1
4. I'm just so tired and sick of the fucking HSC exams
Re: Do I really need a tutor to get good UAI?
Its a self fulfilling prophecy, you think that having a tutor will help you, so you tend to study harder/pay more attention.
So in the end, its up to you, kiddo
Eng + Ext 1 - notes fobber, gives us endless notes from her books and such
Eng Ext 2 - was really really good about the whole thing and stayed up till like three in the morning talking about magical realism and how stream of
consciousness wasn't working.
Maths + Ext 1 + Ext 2 - Sarcastic...
I think that in the end what ultimately matters is the HSC mark because my year advisor explained to me that the school ranks are modulated to the HSC ranks/marks since each school has a different grade of difficulty in assessments.
Case Study:
I went to Sydney Girls and for most of the...
After chemistry I am free of the HSC burden...to have to begin the anxious wait for exam results and all the various applications for scholarships/courses/UAI etc.
I watched 'Dexter' and said that I was forming creative ideas for crime fiction. Thank goodness parents don't really check the HSC timetable since English Ext 1 was like last Thursday.
Other than that. I studied.
1. Half-Blood Prince (other than the Harry/Ginny interludes)
2. Deathly Hallows (because everything's resolved nicely, but Epilogue sucked worse than I could have ever imagined)
3. Goblet of Fire
4. Order of the Phoenix
5. Prisoner of Azkaban
6. Philosopher's Stone
7. Chamber of Secrets
I have to get up early and do ten minutes of stretching and physical exercise so that I don't get hand cramps or random cramps during the exam.
Works like a charm.
