So I've been doing the course Software Engineering. It's proving a bit difficult not because of the content (ts pretty easy soo far) but mostly my teacher. He is barely at class and when he is most of the topics he does are all over the place. Also cause this is a new course. There is virtually...
Yo if anyone else here is doing software engineering, just wanna know what you guys are doing and what stuf you are following cause there arent many guidelines to follow considering it's the first time it happening. I feel like my teacher is not too sure on what's going on lol.
Currently doing 13 units, have zero study periods. But considering dropping pe next year cause it is so boring. But it depends on how well I do in it relative to all my other subjects.
One person I knew got 91 Atar while doing maths std 2 and as well as doing "bad" their English adv test (from what I remember they didn't finish the test for paper 1 or sm). They're now studying medicine in uni. Plus went to a lower 200+ ranked school. As long as you lock in, all should be fine.
So we are doing an extended response timed task which consists of 3 short answer questions and 1 extended response. We are supposed to follow the science STEEL scaffold. Is there any advice on how to write a good response in time and how lengthy and detailed it should be? Also what I should...
So I have chosen to do maths advanced however, I heard from my school at least that there is a test held where you need a certain mark in order to study that course. I just wanna confirm is this true or not and what topics will be on the test and if there is any revision stuff to help. thanks
not sure if this has been mentioned yet but apparently there is a new syllabus for SDD and now is called software engineering. Does anyone know where I can find resources to study for it?
how much more commitment will I have to give to maths ext. As I am not quick with understanding concepts however get better through rigorous practice. But I will need to balance it as I have other tough subjects like chemistry.
Also, I got another question (sorry for the annoyance), my math teacher is urging me to take maths extension but I honestly do not know how I will go in the subject. Of course, I can drop it but I just wanna know if it's worth it or not. Cause the recent maths test this year I have done fairly...
I feel that my cohort will be very small. As most of the people I believe are wanting to become tradies. So I estimate around half my cohort may drop out at the end of this year and we have approximately 100-150 people.
Will that affect like the rankings and assessment marks and stuff?
