The ATAR calcultors are pretty accurate. They do give you a pretty good idea of what ATAR you'll get, but only if you have an accurate idea of what sort of marks you'll be getting for the HSC. The thing is though, most people don't have an accurate idea of what they will be getting for the HSC...
3.5hrs in year 11? Be careful you don't burn out :S
You really shouldn't study based on time. You should just do enough work to get everyone that you want done, done. Of course, be realistic about what you want to get done that day and prioritise properly!
Remember to work smart, not hard ;)

As others have said, your year 11 marks/ranks do not affect your ATAR at all. And remember that you can drop down to standard, but you cannot jump up to...
You should have 3 related texts as that is the maximum number of texts they can have you, but at the very least you must have two. They usually don't ask you for anymore than 2 related texts though as otherwise you will not be able to analyse your texts in enough depth.

I believe you should apply at an on-campus uni and stay enroled at OUA until you know you got accepted. Otherwise you might be rejected and be unable to go to uni at all.
Ruse will always be first unless there's some explosion at the school that kills/critically wounds the top 50% of kids etc etc
It's easier to blame/insult others than it is to insult yourself.
