    study for physics

    Good on you BOS

I was doing some notes on Section 9.2. I ended up with about 14 pages, but one dot point took 3 pages! It's that stupid battery one. If only they put an "or" on there so we didn't have to do them all. If they hadn't been so specific in last years HSC, and my trail, about it, I would have been...

    looks easy, but...

Here's a question. Totally got me stumped and everyone in my house. I'm pretty good at maths, so this is wierd. Here we go: That's the whole thing. I've looked back at the question about 5 times just to make sure. Anyone? It was in an extention section of easy algebra. I've never...

    Batteries - remembering them all?

I didn't for my trails, but I want to for the HSC. If you are, where did you get all the information? All my texts books clearly thought it was a stupid thing to ask too and cover only one or two of them. -zemaj

What time does paper 2 start?

I sort did 50/50 on context and text. Although as I was doing context I put in a bit of basic text. Then with the values thing I basically focused on human nature and the way it is presented as the important values. -zemaj

What time does paper 2 start?

:D j/k What'd you think? I thought is was pretty good. The conversations Section II was pretty unusual for critical study of texts, but I thought it worked quite well! I was doing King Lear and it seemed to work well going through the various productions. However, the Section III is didn't...

    Feminism in Lear

When Lear curses females with that "dry up your womb" speach. Also generally quoting G or R being cruel to Lear showing how females are presented either as saints or devils. -zemaj

How much context or text (In The Wild)

Hmmm.... contexts --> setting (of the authors and within the texts) comparative features (textual: purpose, style, / cinematic: film noir, mise-en-scene, visual motifs, style) themes (conditioning, comformity, power, man vs nature / duality, redemption, man vs nature) link with elective...

    back Emf

Just to clarify: back emf can be thought of as either; o conservation of energy (Lenz's law) o a reaction of eddy currents/ induced field Not too hard... but best answers should explain both IMO. -zemaj

How much context or text (In The Wild)

When we studied ITW we focused very deeply on the text rather than context. I'm doing Blade Runner & Brave New World. i.e. we address all the issues with the wild being complex - being able to address it both on the literal level (lack of the wild in both BR & BNW) and the human level (what...

    Ideas on Poem, "The Door"

...and it's damn easy to remember! I'm using it. I think it's also good because you don't need to pull it apart too much to get to the details. e.g. texts 2a&b require far too much time to address. You can quickly get to the issues with "The Door". What they say about using the more...
