    Does God exist?

yeah i'll have to agree that unfortunately it's sometimes the case...but i should add that religion (or at least the religion i know) is all about a personal relationship with God rather than rigidly following proscribed regulations.

    Does God exist?

i never asked for a textbook response, i just want to know if this guy really knows what he's arguing about. and if you read my response, you'll understand that it wasn't my intent to criticize evolution. so i'd appreciate if you kept your personal attacks to yourself.

    Does God exist?

In 2 Peter 3:9 it says: And the word also says that Hell wasn't created for humans but for fallen angels, and God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only son to die in our place. That to me speaks of a God of amazing grace and mercy. If we reject God's rescue plan, then how can...

    Does God exist?

the single biggest flaw with evolution is the incontinuity in the fossil record. but that's not the point. the point is that if someone is going to ridicule my beliefs then they better come up with some proper justification, which most people have been doing. but ITT 3unitz has done nothing...

you said if you're arguing your case on the supposed abundance of evidence for evolution, shouldn't you at least be able to back up your claims? yet you have the gall to question my ability to research these facts. I know what the scientific facts and theories are. I want to know if you do...

    Does God exist?

i agree we're influenced by our own surroundings, but it's false to take a deterministic view and conclude there's nothing we can do about it. if that's the case then why do you bother getting up every morning and going to school?

    Does God exist?

God designed humans with free will, but it's up to us to decide how we'll choose to live our lives. Surely you can't blame God for deliberately rejecting the only chance of salvation you're given. And even that's by grace alone- God would be well within his rights to deny anybody salvation...

    Does God exist?

there's so many starving people in the world today, but does that absolve us of our responsibility to do whatever we can? of course it might seem impossible but: 1) we have to think on God's terms, and not on our human limitations. 2) we have to do the best we can with the gifts God has given us.

    Does God exist?

I don't believe in the Quran, but I can see where that argument's coming from. As a Christian, I believe that people and times change, but truth never changes.
