i see ur point and i agree that u r right, i was referring to the hsc question in success one about what an allotrope is... if the same sort of question was to appear again as a short response... what would i put?

hey guys. im about to do my hsc chem exam and i just read that success one is wrong on the allotropes.. that being: allotropes have different physical properties but the same chemical properties. in my text book this is what it says aswell. so if this isnt the correct answer, what actually is?

yea i get those.. its just when it comes to reacting substances i never seam to get the finl product right or it never balances or something like that :mad:

thanx for that but mostly when it comes to moles of substances thru a reaction gets me confused.. you know when you got to do mole ratio and use molar mass and moles etc...
