If I lived on campus I'd think about it, but it's such a waste of money. Yeah, you get a 10% discount on coffee's and stuff, but it's $25, so you'd need to buy something like 90 coffee's a term for the card to pay for itself. The union thing has always been the biggest wank, thank god for VSU!

It depends on the day of the week, the activities etc. I know on Mondays when I used to go to poker, BotH was open till we finished, which was usually after 11pm.

Do you mean at/near the Uni or anywhere? I went to a nice restaurant in Thailand which I'm happy to recommend.

Not sure on exact price for every drink. IIRC, they're just normal prices. Again, not sure specifically for BoTH, but I know GT opens up at 12 (noon) apart for special days (Autonomy, St. Pats. etc.)

Apart from Fridays (noone goes to uni on Fridays), if you have a class before 2pm, get there before 9am.

Driving's not that bad, it's the parking that's annoying. I'm actually quite happy with going a few hours early to uni, it gives me an excuse to force myself to do some study/homework.

This is coming from someone who did 4 unit in year 12, and does a very maths intensive course at uni, but how do you live?

It's generally a party week for people on campus. The only other fun part, is going around to all the club stalls and getting free pens, rulers etc.

Lectures are compulsary for all students. However, there are some rare exceptions, where lectures are repeated, Eg. Math1110 has a morning lecture and a night lecture that cover the same material.

Absolutely. You would probably be better off doing the 1000 level courses first though, as they're generally easier and will set you up for the tougher courses, but there's really no restrictions in place to make you do that.

That's okay, we don't expect much from Arts students :) Most individual courses are 10 units each, and you are required to 240 units, which is *usually* 40 units a semester, therefore 3 years. You could also get away with 30 units a semester over 4 years, but that's up to you. As the...
