Yeah thats why i didnt go to lectures, his notes were very good and he would just read off the slides :)

After experimenting a little i found out you need to take it slow. Like you first tell the thing to evaluate to 1 000 then 10 000 then 50 000. If you ease maple into it, it still takes quite a while but at least it doesnt freeze.

lol, I work in an INBOUND call-centre recharging and connecting international phone calls. At least i don't work in an outbound centre :)

lol. I regretted buying the Math textbook, it's so useless, course notes are pretty awesome for math. Lecture notes for physics though were very crap, i found a textbook essential for it.

When i first realised maple existed (this was around week 4/5) I got trigger happy and tried to evaluate Pi to a million places. The Computer froze :( Maple is pretty kewl

You can get some a small container of hokkien noodles / singaporean noodles / rice for $5. Hot chips for <$5 lol. You could buy 2 cheesburgers + a cone ice-cream from maccas and still have over 50c left to spare.
