PLEASE HELP! How do Majors/Minors work?

Well, as long as all the degree requirements are fulfilled - then it doesn't matter. That's the uni perspective. To get a fuller understanding of whether it'll stuff up, you need to plan ahead, something like this: My current one is very different from that one, but it plans out...

    MATH1131 Lectures - can't decide between lecturers

WK Schief, he's good. One of the things I remember from him is that he'll always say "Good morning" or "Good afternoon" when he walks in. Very polite.

    The Cricket Thread

Re: The Official Cricket Thread How should you bowl at the death of games anyway? I always thought that line and length deliveries, just outside the off-stump are usually the best bet. A good delivery there isn't wide enough to cut, or short enough to drive... I guess the batsman could step...

Oh good, another Adv. Maths kid! welcome Okay let's see... COMP1917 you probably have to do anyway, so you could do that. If you're taking it by itself, I'd leave the fourth spot for anything you're interested in. Maybe a finance course, or a science course, or even an Arts course. Uni life is...

    Post Your 2014 Sem1 Timetable

Depends. If it's four hours straight of lecture, that'd be hell. If you're more active, as in it's a tute, should be okay. Personally, I'd hate more than three hours back to back.

Who's Completing a Bachelor of Arts degree?

If you're worried about not meeting other Arts students, there are societies where you can meet them. I have a friend who's on MuSoc Exec (Music Society), they do cool things, and spoke highly of them so I'll probably join that. There's other Arts-y societies like EduSoc (Education), ArtsSoc...

A few Enrolment Questions :D Thanks

This is why you walk through the way that doesn't use (that many) stairs. From Physics Theatre, exit near Red Centre and turn right through that alleyway behind the Red Centre that passes through Rex Vowels (or whatever that theatre is called). Go up the ramp that passes by Mech. Eng, then go...

    What should i do???!!!!

Here's what I did. When you get your UAC Book which tells you all the possible courses you can apply for through UAC, go through it. Page by page. Degree program by degree program. Circle or mark any course you're interested in. Don't look at if you're good enough for it, or if you might not...

    Help with Enrollment

Take an elective course, Philosophy or something - something that you're interested in. A Commerce degree that is 100% Commerce is: a. Boring b. Not satisfying the degree requirements that require you to have at least one course outside of your home faculty.

Go to the place where you enrolled, and click "Swap" when your list of subjects appears. Pick the class your friend is in and then follow the prompts. Just like when you were enrolling.

A few Enrolment Questions :D Thanks

    1. Your boxes are blue, you're enrolled. 2. Never press auto-enrol. It's better to pre-plan your classes manually using the timetable website: http://timetable.unsw.edu.au/ , and then enrol in the courses you want. This way, you can plan your timetable to your own needs - for instance, "I want...

When you start working. I haven't paid attention my HECS like... ever. The Handbook shouldn't specify what courses you do exactly for every semester at all, only recommend for certain study plans. Also you take 48uoc a year, 24uoc a semester - you choose different subjects for Semester 2, also...
