    Quadratic Functions

Why not just treat like an equation and sub in a values for x into the original equation to work out if it is above or below your two answers? That saves the time of doing a graph.

Q: find the exact value of cot 15?

    Cot is complimentary to tan. So cot 15 = tan (90 - 15) = tan 75 = tan (45 + 30) = (tan45 + tan30) / 1 - tan45 . tan 30 = (1 + 1/root3) / 1 - 1. 1/root3 = [(root3 + 1)/ root3] / [(root3 - 1)/root3] = (root3 + 1) / (root3 - 1) = (root3 + 1)2 / 2 = (3 + 2root3 + 1) / 2 = (4 +...

    Quadratic Functions

I only know one way. Multiply by denominator squared. Come up with solutions to x (treat like an equation i.e. change < or > to =). Substitute values of x into original equation to work out where the answer lies. In your example: 1 ____ <1 x-2 Solve for x. Multiply both sides by...

    Quadratic Functions

Short Story 3 - Untitled... Help us find a title.

I'm seriously stuck though. I don't know what word/phrase would encapsulate the main message of the narrative. It's too hard to cut down into something short and succinct so I posted this up to those who could possibly achieve such a task.

Sure. Whatever works for you. What I wanted to express was a man who thinks he's perfection but in reality he has OCD. Deep down he wants to escape the tyranny of the disorder but he can't.

    Guernica

I believe it's saying industrialisation and infrastructure can result in violent brutalities and deaths (think workplace accidents for example). The image is dense with alot of objects (horse, humans, body parts etc) packed into a relatively small amount of space. This makes the responder feel...

'A PRODUCT OF PERFECTION' Integrity. It’s all we really have. It’s all we really want. It’s that quality so close to seamlessness but so dependent on stereotypes. Do you fit the norm? Are you different but not too different? What do others perceive you to be? He is just a mere product of...
