Actually, your best two units of English are counted. Whatever they are. That might be 2 Advanced, or 1 Ext. 1 and 1 Ext. 2 or 1 Advanced and 1 Ext. 2. But that can be quite confusing, the whole English thing.

When you take Extension 2 Maths, Extension 2 is worth 2 units, Extension 1 is worth 2 units, and so your normal Mathematics 2u course is worth zero. So it doesn't count.

You'd stay longer at uni though. At least take 3 so you're a full time student and get concessions and all that. What I might suggest if you want to transfer is take one or two courses in the subject you want to transfer to, and if you go well - transfer. That was my logic for semester 1 this...
