woah hold on there, missy they don't ranks do say ur ranked 1st then ur school assessment score doesn't matter different scenario: say u got 85% for a subject the rank still matters in determining the uai as long as u got the rank you think you need to help you get the uai u require...

I have no idea :confused: But the responses i saw.. were pretty shit. Even the teacher thought so and she's an easy marker lol. I think maybe there is a small percentage of students getting band 6 is because of scaling? Because there's 26% that get band 5..

Howdy all Have you all started going to through past paper exam questions and sample answers for each band? We do this everytime for a couple of lessons before an exam. As well as the teacher explaining it to me, I realised that the best way to get high marks is just write everything you know...

lets say u rank 2nd. you will get 50% of your hsc score and 50% of 2nd's hsc score (could be your hsc score again if u scored 2nd in the year for the hsc exam) so ur rank in class and ur final performance in the hsc exam are what matters i think thats right..
