Well, if you get a MyMulti ticket you can do whatever. It's only $30 and it's great. Like... it covers the bus ride to the station, train rides to the city, bus rides to uni. And if I decide to go to the city after uni or on the weekends, I can use the same ticket. If I decide to visit another...

UNSW's not really 'close to the city'. It's a 10-15 minute bus ride into the city but at least there's a convenient bus stop that gets you to go there. No 20 minute walks to Redfern :p

4.75/7... hmm. Well, I don't know if anyone here can help you but - assuming 7 is an HD, 6 is a D and 5 is a credit, and 4 is a pass... and assuming that a credit is the average mark at uni, and if the average ATAR is around 70... then wouldn't a "conversion" (and I use that word very loosely)...

For you, free electives and gen ed are pretty much the same thing unless you use your 'free electives' on Commerce subjects. Besides, isn't gen ed just 6uoc outside your faculty anyway? You've done your gen-ed requirement with Fitness - so just consider your other free slots as free electives...
