    What have you eaten today?

You've eaten that in the last 37 minutes? Wow.

Word count by the end of holidays

Write for as long as you need to. Stop if you have to. The words you write come from nowhere, and if you stop yourself when you're on a roll - you may never get that sentence you were going to write down ever again. So... keep writing.

Word count by the end of holidays

Oh, that problem. Go work on something else. Write something else, and then come back to it. Then document that in your journal. "I had writer's block so... I wrote something else about something completely different and came back to it"

Word count by the end of holidays

So... the writing should be easy for you. That said, why are you struggling to write if you already have an idea? Don't worry about perfection - just write the full thing and just edit it later. It could be a bit of a waste of time, but I found that the general shape of the story was still kept...

Word count by the end of holidays

Do you even have an idea of what you want your work to be? Because if not, then you should be brainstorming and not even attempting to write.

    Question on timetable

I missed three tutes in Finance last semester but I didn't fail the subject. So... yeah. Might be 1st year leniency or something.

    Question on timetable

Of course you can skip it, but why would you do that? Tutorials are your free ticket to getting solutions to problems you had trouble with during the week. Tutorials are an hour long. It's a bad idea to skip them, in my opinion. ESPECIALLY maths ones - because it's an hour of your tutor doing...

Word count by the end of holidays

I finished a full draft by the end of holidays. If you do EX2, like I did, you should already have a good idea of what you want to do - so you just write it. None of this stupid "Oh okay, I have to stop now - I've written 1000 words" stuff.

    Timetable query again

Tutorial rooms can fit 25 or so. You're confusing them with lecture halls.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

^ I don't remember that line at all.

    Question on timetable

    1. You 'enrol' into a lecture but realistically you can go to any of the other lectures as picks your fancy. For example, there were two streams in MATH1241 and I decided to pop into the other stream which I didn't enrol in - just to see what the other lecturers were like. 2. Figure it out...

What is so good about Usyd?

Don't do Arts? :( Well, obviously it's not meant to be a sole source. But it's a general guide. It has its downfalls, like I don't like how some information is missing from the book version - but it's a good indicator nonetheless. How well you'll use it, depends on who you are.

What is so good about Usyd?

Even if they took 50 people from each course, they do these surveys regularly - they're not one off things.

What is so good about Usyd?

What is their sample size? Do you know? I just know it's "Graduate Surveys", which I'd assume has more than 200 or so entries than that other Rate Your Uni website.
