I want to start Tutoring but ...

Look 99.95 does not make a good tutor. I know quite a few .95'ers and some are actually amazing at explaining stuff in which case, no offence, there is no way you can compete against that. Others are pretty crap. The mark doesn't make the tutor and honestly, if you feel you can explain the...

Is it worth ordering a mark recheck??

No. I disagree VERY strongly with this statement. Even ignoring the fact that the only reason you get scaled up by a stronger cohort is because its harder to get good ranks in the first place, the giving of 5 bonus is plainly stupid imo. Consider that someone with an ATAR of 95 gets into...

A lot of people say this but I don't think so. In my trials and my HSC, I only used one related and I got 15/15 for trials and 14.5/15 for HSC so I don't think it matters. Do whichever you're more comfortable with

    Unsw aaa scholarship

You can hold scientia and AAA simultaneously I think because AAA is just a one off payment but scientia is recurrent. With other scholarships, it depends on the scholarship- some you can, some you can't. For example, if you get scientia and co-op, you get the co-op payment every year but only a...

    Unsw aaa scholarship

The school picks on their own system- its meant to go to highest performing student over years 11 and 12 but the principal can give it to whoever they want. The principal should check that the person they are giving it to is actually going to UNSW. And yes, I'm pretty sure they still get the $4000

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive But D is the name of the molecule IN the question- for an isomer, it has to be something else. Watch out for this, they often include the name of the molecule shown as one of the options.

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive An isomer is like a re-arrangement of the haloalkane. It can't be A or B because they both have one fluorine but the original has 2 and it can't be D because that's what that haloalkane is called now

Is it worth ordering a mark recheck??

They do definitely. On the website it says the only courses excepted are med and one other similar one + I know a few peeps in UNSW comm/law through AAA. Unless if they're changing the system for next year?

Is it worth ordering a mark recheck??

It generally takes around 2 weeks so probs not before offers sorry. And tbh, I doubt they made a mistake and even if they did, going from a .6 to a .7 ATAR will require them to be wrong by at least a few raw marks. Do you think they made a mistake?

    HSC Physics Marathon 2013-2015 Archive

Re: 2013 HSC physics marathon I don't think you even answered the question. You need to give a reason as to why the null result occured. I've never heard of those (they could still be right though). About the first, I thought one of the properties of the aether was that it was an absolute...

    What is your first preference?

True rankings are based on research output. It does however have something to do with study- if the uni is on cutting-edge research, they can teach that to their students. USyd in better in law in terms of prestige. I'm going to UNSW but I'll still admit that openly. You are correct that it...
