I dont think that would stop them. We are "not allowed" to break the law, but we have all broken it at some stage.

My mate gets PC/PS3/PS2/PSP games regularly from overseas (ebay) and never has had any of these problems. re: damaged product. Most of the "power sellers" have a refund policy if the disc is broken etc. His PSP stand broke, and they had sent a replacement 12 hrs after it had been reported.

most aussie banks dont charge fees if you can produce a student/uni id of some description. Every march st george sends me a letter explaining if i dont take my student card in, they will start charging me. Sounds pretty fair imo.

at my school they mark you down before 4:30, and after 5:15 they cut you off. (well from what i can remember)

i know of a few teachers that marry or have gone out on dates. good luck to them, its just like any workplace relationship.
