Yeah my main creative is 940 from memory. I wrote two more today as like back ups but they're not top stuff and they're like 850 words. Hopefully the question has the stimulus "Welcome home" or "Welcome to the family" or whatever and then I'll just be like BOOM :)

Haha well... Idk- it was fun but I got smashed. Probs like 45-50/70 lol. Ironically I got most of Q14 out and then like nothing from Q12. I learnt some neat tricks and stuff though so it was defs worth it- I want to find out my mark

Whenever you see a sigma, just write out the first few terms so you can visualise it. I can't really work with sigmas but once you 'see' what the say polynomial expansion looks like, it becomes a lot easier imo

Yes definitely- they are all pretty decent scalers- you could break 99 with that combo. Whether you will or not is obviously up to you so good luck :)

A lot of my paragraphs are a page long. Consider that if you write 6 page essays then yeah... they will take up space It depends on the essay. Most of mine are Intro - Body x4 - Conclusion but don't be really rigid with the structure. Some essays lend themselves to more paragraphs, some...

If I had to guess, I'd estimate your ATAR at around 94 but I'm not normally good at these things so take what I say with a massive grain of salt. Good luck :)

Personally, you seem pretty solid in chem so I would really be focussing on destroying maths (not sure where business is in the timetable). But chem is like the last exam so you've got heaps of time for that.

For maths, I wouldn't worry because like people has said, there's not really a specific year 11/12 course- like we did perms as our last 3U topic in year 12 (after trials). As long as you cover everything before the end of year 12, its fine. For sciences, there isn't really that much link...

Personally mine is like 1100-1200 words so depending on how fast you write, you'll be fine I reckon. Good luck

Actually I would argue that without analysis you would get significantly lower marks- the entire premise of advanced english is pretty much analysis.

When you say weak language, do you mean weak language mechanics (like spelling, grammar, syntax) or just 'lower-level' and more simplistic words. If you mean the latter, you can write extremely effective essays with simple words (some of the best ones I've read were very simple put- they were...

1. Define 'fail' in regards to school assessments- what is his rank and out of how many people? 2. What is a good mark in the externals? 3. What ATAR does he consider good/flop?

Used to being the key operative here. Though I'll confess, I used to do it heaps in year 11 at the start of the year when our teacher would check homework but then I stopped when he stopped checking haha (I would do random questions, not the ones he picked)

Sophistication is talking about big ideas not neccessarily big words. Having said this, if your essay is limited to the techniques of simile and metaphor, well then... To be sophisticated, work on clarity of expression etc.
