    Don't worry- state rank 4U next year. Honestly, if you're as good at 4U next year as you are at 3U this year- you'll get that state rank fairly comfortably imo

    First will be moderated to 100. Your internal though won't be 98 unless your decently far from 1st. I don't know how far you are but if you're like 1% off them, then you'd probs end up with an internal of just above 99, giving you HSC mark of 100.

    I still don't get why we are having this discussion. It takes the same amount of effort to bring a pencil or a pen into the exam. Just use a black pen that doesn't smudge.

    There's a few ways. This is how I did it. Note that 4a+4b+4c=4 ->a+b+c=1 Now the largest surface area will come from where all the side lengths are equal (you can prove this but not neccessary for MC). Therefore a=b=c=1/3 Now A=6a^2 =6/9= 2/3

    Yeah I know- I didn't think of that in the moment though :( Though were you there when I outlined my solution to finding A(x) and B(x) for Q11? I think that is the most unco solution anyone did in the whole paper. Though I made up for it by getting the whole of Q14 pretty quickly which was good :)

    The other roots were not real apparently- I got that one wrong. Lol I got the four unreal roots and I figured it was too much effort for one mark to check the other two :(

    Ok guys what were your favourite questions in the paper? Personally, I really liked the prove a+b=c (the tangent question), Q14b (the roots of z^n=1), the whole of Q15 and all those ones about explaining the geometric significance of the result proven. I think I would have like Q16 if I could...
