Look at the syllabus, test yourself every day. Write a response to a syllabus dot point as if it was a question.

The scaling and moderation of english makes it quite hard to pass, our first progress report stated that with our school's scaling that 50/80 people doing standard english will fail.

Its quite unfair for people who don't like English. It's just a waste of time.

in WA you dont have to count english in your UAI score You have to pass though, requiring 62.5% so its extremely hard for 'drop-kicks' to get into uni for subjects which require a subject average of like 50. I think its too hard to pass english, the effort required is overwhelming. I would...

I have allways thought of thi forum of consisting of the top 5% of students (i.e. the ones who get 95+ UAIs) which makes me feel outta place. It's not that hard to study ffs, you with all your 90 averages and me with my 70 average :(
