    Economics is to me, It is the most applable subject I'm doing (refer to sig) and alot of Australians are unsure about interes rates and taxation, just complaining when they have to pay more.

    I agree with this, Look at the drop out rate for engineering, If your looking at engineering and are expecting that getting an UAI of 85+ will be too hard i'd seriously subject doing something a little less intense.

    Take Two: Holiday Plans

    Holidays are over for me, I did 32 hrs of study combined: 7:00 Calculus, 10:35 Chemistry, 6:00 Applicable Mathematics, 4:00 Economics, 1:35 Physics and 3:00 English. I wish I did more though I can't complain, I'm looking forward to the half-yearly exams.

    Investment Banking - which degree to do?

    I am planning to do B.Commerce + B.Mathematics and Computer Science (major in probability/stat) to pursue a job in Investment banking. If all doesn't go so well I'll become an actuary :D

    Board notes seriously piss me off. A class discussion is the best as it encourages everyone in the room to participate and if they aren't a good teacher will point them out, embarrasment leading to them actually listening. Makes the teacher alot easier to approach and you can ask questions...
