    Need help TY :)

Well, the easiest thing is to look at your list of outcomes and simply answer them. 1. You have to build a basic thesis centred around the idea of change. How does the concept of change relate to 'the journey'? Journeys usually revolve around a change bringing about a growth or enlightenment...

Help!!! Subject choices!! Too Many UNITS!!!

A girl and guy in my year each did four major works: two Drama, one English Extension 2 and one Visual Arts and they're both going to do very well. So, don't let the number of major works you have blind you. Mind you, they both had to work very hard to get them done.

Preliminary basic for Production of Materials?

You need to know pretty well all of the stuff that you learnt in Year 11. The preliminary course provides the building blocks for the HSC course, particularly in Chemistry.

    creative writing (journeys)

Some ideas that myself and others have used: - Memories are always fantastic ideas. They allow an incredible level of emotive language to be used, particularly if they are reliving a traumatic experience. They can also be considered both an inner and imaginative journey. - Comparative...

What do we need to do to get marks like that?

Concentrate in class either way. Even if you study hard at home, you have a much greater chance of grasping and understanding information surrounded by other students and teachers.

UWS medicine gets the go-ahead by AMC

Just because UWS has a new medicine course doesn't mean it's going to be a breeze to get into. It will be easier than USYD, UNSW and UNewcastle, but it's still an extremely advanced degree. They will still only accept students with high UAIs, UMAT scores and university-level marks.

2007ers - What do you want to do after the HSC?

If you're interested in classy modelling and theatre acting, England's a good place to go. I'm going to be in London between January and April and then New York between April and October for a filmmaking course. I can't wait. Also, if you're interested in performing arts, also try WAPA.

How are 2007ers finding year 12?

Speeches can be a major downfall if you're not good at public speaking, which a lot of people aren't. And I can't imagine studying in this heat. I'm in love with my air conditioner at the moment.

Help!!! Subject choices!! Too Many UNITS!!!

A lot of it depends on what you want to study after school. Certain subjects may not be required to get into a particular course, but are near-essential if you want to pass (such as maths and science in medicine). Try not to think too much about scaling, particularly if you're doing very, very...

    working too hard

I was incredibly lazy throughout the entire year, even when it actually came to actually studying for the final exams. Some people were studying 8-10 hours a day during Stuvac. Let's just say that... I wasn't. Some tips: - Don't leave assignments until the last minute, particularly major...

    Relationships & HSC

I don't see why people should break up for the HSC. If you're too difficult to be around during the HSC, then you're getting way too stressed and narky. And you should be able to manage your relationship around your workload or your workload around your relationship together, otherwise you...

What attracts you?? In term of body

Tall, dark hair, any colour eyes as long as they're nice. Gotta have a great smile too. Nice body, toned, but not so much that it looks like he's worked for it. I'm a sucker for a hot back and shoulders as well. I know, it sounds odd, but tone and muscles in the back are yum.

    Suggestions on imaginitive journey

First up, decide on a few issues that link all five texts together to ease the stress of formulating an essay thesis in the exam. For notes, check the resources section. As you can see, you won't get people here that just give away essays.

    Help for Imaginative Journey Speech!

Five minutes is actually a fairly long time to talk about three texts. Depending on how quickly you speak, you should be able to fit around 1500 words into your speech. I'd stick to a general essay format, with bits at the beginning and the end formulating a speech format. In your...
