Usually they are a general indicators of how well you are going though. Schools don't (to my knowledge) go off an make ridiculously easy/hard tests... if they did then they owuldn't have a good indicator of how well the student was going. If your marks are where they are now, it's not very suprising. The school certificate is about as hard as a limp dick. But there's something going wrong if you are actually trying and still getting the marks you are getting. I do biology and the assessment I had to do for BPoL I totally flunked...

...An informed decision would involve some level of research. If somebody failed to stumble upon the whole bridging course thing in the course of that research they wouldn't be in school anymore, they'd be on the dole. Thus, no doors would be closed. Perhaps if you'd read the thread then...

You can also put it on a table, like I said. If the piece of paper is on a table, like i said, then it's not at all clumsy. And having an A4 piece of paper says to the marker "I'm not reading my speech", because with palm cards you have to be aware of your place to turn them so frequently.
