Read rules please. Remember, being literate is a good thing! If you want help from others, please show them some respect. If someone asked you for help and was rude about it, would you offer them the help they wanted? I'm not saying that I'm the champion of the English language, but at least...

At Coles we try to avoid touching the cards of customers (even Flybuys) as much as possible. Hope we don't introduce something like this. :(

Just another couple questions guys. Is it true that for every 2 self-servce registers there has to be 1 person at all times working? My store is going to get 8, so I'm thinking of applying for a position as a 'customer coach'. I guess self-serve person. Also, can you get register shifts AND...

Living Away From Home Assistance Queries

Well, because of the distance issue, I moved to study. Even though I am not eligible for YA because of my parents, it wasn't due to their income. It was because of their assets. However, what about this? "you have parents who cannot exercise their responsibilities" You can be proven...

I don't know. When I transferred, they had problems processing it all. So to have you working at both might be more of a hassel than for what it's for worth (for them)

Living Away From Home Assistance Queries

I was browsing today, to find the criteria for eligibility for this, and let me tell you, it's like they don't want the masses knowing about it. Couldn't find it at all on the Centrelink website. But I found it on The Department of Education.... website but it was for AB/Aus (The aboriginal...

We do in Coles. Guess it's because if we touch dirty stuff, then we're going to contaminate the next customers' goodies. I'm aware that money is dirty, but still. Oh yeah, I used to work at Kmart in Robina Town Centre. The original Woolies there is pretty big, and because of the expansion, that...

My store has literally tens of thousands of customers a week. In the CBD of Brisbane where most transactions are less than a basket, most people don't pay with eftpos. They pay with $50's mainly. Generally I did more than one when someone had left such an amount of cash JUST before the message...

But like, we're only insured for so much cash in the till. You'd be pretty retarded to rob a Coles, but there are other posibilities. Like a fire or something similar to that I guess.
