    Visiting Sydney for first time

Hey guys, next month I'll be going to Sydney with my girlfriend for 3 days and 2 nights. We'll be staying in the CBD and I was wondering if any of you could suggest some nifty things we coud do in the close vacinity that isn't too pricey. Don't worry about Luna Park though, because I'm from the...

    The Woolworths Thread

I work at Coles, and it's a store in the middle of the CBD with no isles, but we serve something like 800 or 900 000 thousand customers a week (most are small transactions) We are open 7-9 weekdays except Friday and that's until 10. And then 8-7 on Saturday and 9-7 on Sunday. We do spot...

    The Coles Thread

But I don't overload the bags. I double them if I get the smallest feeling that it'll snap, I just double it before they even ask. Customers hardly ask me to double the bag, but when they do, it's pretty much impossible for it to break, unless they swing it around like crazy. That's why it gets...

Is this unethical at the least?

I work 6 days a week and find time to do work for my degree... It's not that hard. Oh yeha, I support myself.

Is this unethical at the least?

Sorry, it's not like kids in year 8 and 9 go to Tafe or anything. Oh wait, they do.....

Is this unethical at the least?

From what I've heard, Tafe isn't that hard. I work 6 days a week, and study full time at university and always find time to do my uni assignments when needed. You finish tafe at 5/6 or whatever, why not do some of your work then?

    Problems with sharemate

You don't know the 'size' of this room. We are living in an apartment complex, and our managers are quite strict. I believe, legally speaking you are only allowed to many diametres of space per room full of storage. I would take a photo of the 'room' (can't really call it a room) to prove it's...

    Problems with sharemate

Before my sharemate moved in, she had some storage here for a month or so. She told us it would be here for a week or two before she finds someone to tell it to. Weeks passed, and then a month or so, and she moved in. Remembering that she is a friend of the person whom is renting out the...

    new centrelink reforms

Fuck, I'm confused. Everything is getting changed/taken out at different times. Least this isn't too important for me. Sucks to all those that got fucked over. On another note, as Krudd has lowered the low income threshold for Family B (and/or A), does that mean if you earn over the...

    new centrelink reforms

Thanks. I'm not going to be receiving anything from the government. So, I'm not really a hypocrite. My brother is on youth allowance, so if there's things he needs to know that he doesn't, don't you think I'd better tell him? It's also for my own personal interest in the matter too. And even if...

    new centrelink reforms

Don't worry, get used to the government fucking you over. My parents got $950 for me, they decided to give it to me. Now that the low-income threshold has been lowered from $110 000 (dual income) to something like $70 000, it looks like they might have to pay the $950 back, which means I get to...

    new centrelink reforms

Is the living away from home scheme still the same? Like, you have to have moved a certain distance and the like. What about rent assistance?

    new centrelink reforms

So if I work casual (for over 15 hours) a week over the time period for full time or casual, I still can't qualify for YA? Looks like it just became impossible for me to get YA. Oh well, I don't mind continuing working as much as I am in my job. My supervisor has one part time staff, out of...

My Coles is a Coles Central. We don't have to deal with trolleys. I think that kicks ass :)
