    B. Psychology

Uhh im not sure about psych units or whatever (first in the family to go to uni), but when i asked the person doing the Q&A's he did really emphasis the 2000... It could be like what Sida said about it being first year psychology units :/

    B. Psychology

hmm thats interesting actually... Well regardless of which pathway i do end up taking, honours itself is going to be highly competitive with only the top of the top making it through in either B. Psych and B. Science. None the less, thanks for pointing out some alternatives just in case i get...

    B. Psychology

only problem with dropping down to B. Science if i dont manage to stay in B. Psychology is that it makes my desired career path very difficult to almost impossible ( want to pursue clinical psychologist which is 4 years of psych+honours and then another 2 years of masters). However thank you for...

    B. Psychology

So yesterday i attended the info day at USYD. Prior to attending, i had set my mind on doing the B. of Psychology (with 4th year honours) knowing full well that if i dont perform to at least a distinction average in the 3rd year, i will be kicked from the degree and sent to B. of Science...

    Atar estimate please :)

Pretty decent scaling subjects. Only thing that may drag you down is how you perform during the external exams (you get more nervous - from experience) and your school ranking

Is it going to be tough getting 95+ ATAR at a school ranked in the 150-200

Any way i can contact your tutor? im planning on USYD B. Psychology too and i asked one of the past students who was answering general Q&A's about how hard it is to stay in the degree and he responded with "Theres roughly 2000 students to begin with, and by 4th (honours) year, theres only around...

    Atar estimate please!

Due to the 400+ school ranking, like Jazz commented, its hard to estimate. However with that said, you are performing exceptionally well in your school and also picked rather high scaling subjects. Dont let this estimate get you down, but im gna estimate around 93.50, specially if u keep up the...

B psychology at USYD -> clinical psych?

This is what i was hoping to hear. Thanks for answering these questions. I will most likely pursue psychology regardless of what the comments were going to be, but i think your advice really consolidated my initial presumptions on the degree. I wish you the best of luck in your honours year and...

B psychology at USYD -> clinical psych?

Thank you so much for your input! If u have time, i have a few more fast questions, i promise! I have heard numerous comments being directed towards me whenever i usher that i plan on taking a B of Psychology, mainly in the form of something along the lines of "its too hard...the workload is...

Is it going to be tough getting 95+ ATAR at a school ranked in the 150-200

personally speaking, i attend a school which in my HSC year was ranked around the 150's and i managed to come out with an ATAR just slightly above 95. I remember also asking the same question u did before entering the HSC (since my school is also partially selective- ish), with a major concern...
