    Organise your notes and review areas of concern. Then progress to complete past paper after past paper to familiarise yourself with the application of the content, which is very different to how it's chronologically presented in your notes.

    My trial marks were marked to HSC standard and my HSC marks reflected each English section trial mark almost invariably. I think it may be a whole issue of avoiding complacency on the students' part, because moderation equalizes the state anyway.

    Catholic studies or SOR?

    Do SOR. It's quite easy, unique and shouldn't be hard to score a high mark if you put in a decent amount of effort. If you don't like it and you have enough units (at least 10 in year 12), drop to Catholic Studies.
