    hahah By the time it took me to write up my solutions, I already got them THANKS... I just realised that i was missing the very last step of multiplying the top and bottom by SQRT(2) just a question but isnt it better to leave it in the form that its in in the second last line? THANKS AGAIN...

    From the Arnold/Cambridge 4U book. Exercise 2.1 question 9b. It says solve the following quadratic equation: 2x^2 - 4x + 3 = 0 I keep getting 1 (+-) [i SQRT(2)]/2 but the answer is 1 (+_) i/[SQRT(2)] and I dont know how to get that Help is much appreciated :D Thanks
