also review you can give both sides of the argument ehilst in an esay youy are trying to prove/disprove something so obvioudly will not argue the other side. also for review you don't have to have a conclusive ending. i supppose for an essay you don't have to either but it is better if you do

review you have it in first person, "i reccomend", or "my opinion is.." in an essay , unless they ask for it, it is definatly a no-no. there are other minor differences but yes, you are right they are very similar

anyone thinking of doing a major in history or is/has doing/done a major in history, ancient or modern? i love the actual subjects but i'm afraid if i did it in uni there would be too much thinking inviolved for me/workload. if you do a major in history does it involve a thesis?

go to the informations days. obvously al unis will tell you they are great but you will work out which one you feel most comfortable with. as well youy can ask unis what they're employment rates are for 1st year graduates.

i have decided to start uni next year then defer a year and go travelling for a year. this way i don't miss out on first year uni with all my friends but also (if i went after i finished uni) i wouldn't have that big hole/gap with employers look down on if i finish then do nothing for a year.

i want to do BSci but i wouldn't go near commerce with a ten foot pole:)

bathurst, csu is definatly the best for any job in media/journlism/PR. my mum is an employer and she looks highly upon csu grads. if you do want to stay in sydney she also suggests UTS. and um, if you don't get into the coure you want there are heaps of ways aroud it to get where you want:)...
