A few of mine are 4cp, but only like two or three.

A unit is well... a subject. Generally a unit will be worth 3cp, and to complete a degree you require a set amount of credit points, as well as having them split up among 100, 200 and 300 level units. Note credit points and whatnot are different at other unis.

Try getting new drivers for everything. If anything, you'd use the Driver Recovery CD or getting new drivers individually from the net, but if you use the CD read everything it says and don't click 'System Recovery'... unless you want to wipe everything ;)

Kind of useless, but if you go to Control Panel -> System -> Adv -> Startup and Recovery, you can uncheck 'Automatically restart', and next time it happens you can write down what the bsod says then google/ask about it.
