I suggest going into the computer's safe mode to prevent those processes from start up. Press F8 while the computer is starting up to access Safe Mode.

Well you can get an extension unblocker as the new MSN7 won't allow you to send certain types of files. Luckily A-Patch can unblock this though if that doesn't work, you can always just zip up the file and send it over.

Well the download for the program is 200mb or something. And then you have to download maps piece by piece and if you're on a slow connection that it'll take a while.

I agree though it doesn't benefit those on a slower connection and you'll need a couple of gigs free for the images...and also the Landsats/NTLs stuff up sometimes.
