Protein shakes are usually needed to repair muscle damage and to grow muscles. It also helps to speed up metabolism (i.e turn to leaner muscle, then burn fat). I just recently taken these, and man...chocolate flavour doesn't taste great.
Low intensity. ya should really focus on cardio. Keep ya heart rate between 70-80% of max.
In 1.5hrs in gym, ya should dedicate around 45min on good cardio. Walking on treadmill is not good enough.
Try protein shakes. If ya wanna bulk, ya gotta do much higher intensity. Hit the gym and lift some heavy weights. Preferably till failure.
High intensity = burn carb more than fat
Low Intensity = burn fat more than carb

If ya really want to start photography...then i suggest ya to invest in a dslr and a good lens. It may be expensive but its well worth it. Lens last for over a decade.

Here's a great tip i learnt. Always have a log with you. Draw up a chart and list ya excercies. eg. leg curl, 45 degree leg press...
