I was using a laptop sometimes (due to disability) when i was at school, but I preferred handwriting. I have a laptop now to help me with Tafe stuff but still handwrite. As for batteries alot of computers now have back-up battery modules. My laptop (which is only a few months old) has 3 hours...

At my school we had 6 periods (50 mins each) roll-call was from 9-9:20 then period 1. And if we didnt study extension subjects or hospitality we got wednesday off. They also had morning classes before school for hospo and extentsion that started at 8:30 till 9:20.

Last year my School set our trials around the date that our major artworks were due, so I was pulling my hair out trying to do both my artwork and study for exams. I swear our schools are out to make life as difficult as possible, so that we're on the path to insanity!!!!!

When you consider that you have and a two terms or so to go of year 12 regarless of whether your has half yearly's or not your over the half way mark and have hit the downhill run ;) In answer to your question I did my HSC over two years (parthways) Good luck all!!! :D:)

Trust me having been there and done that not once but twice it get easier after the half-yearly's coz in a way it's all a downhill run. :)
