when u spend two years doing nothing but study to earn your place, you kinda get burnt out. It wasnt even like i was studying stuff which would be useful in the future, i was like memorising the scientific names of plants - my brain is full of useless crap!

the government has given the uni's the power to change HECS fees, they can raise them by up to 25% or lower them. So by targeting the uni's that havent yet made up their minds whether or not to increase or decrease fees, the hope is that the uni's will decide not to increase fees, hence why UTS...

if the governments mind worked in this way then they wouldnt be increasing fees and stuff. There will always be the need for ppl to do the menial jobs, and if education is restricted to the rich then the poor will be forced to do them.

i agree there are a lot of ppl who come across as snobs, especially when they get all dressed up for uni and are obviously wealthy (i know, u cant always tell, but often u can) but most ppl (only most, not all) are ok when u talk to them like one on one. People who hang around in big groups...

back to topic, yes there seem to be alpha females in most courses, i call them "keen beans" and if you have 2, one is the "team leader". And by the end of the year, everyone will know them, and most will hate tem, but they do provide entertainment and answer questions when no one else will...

the lost property is in the security offce kinda opposite manning and down the road a bit. You fill out of form and they look through the stuff they have based on your description, and if anything comes in and it matches your description, they will contact you. All the unclaimed stuff gets sold...

well if you are coming from random places! and i dont go wandering around train stations, especially in redfern, for fun. My platform is straight ahead of me as i enter, and we plebs have to use the stairs.

ummm, redfern isnt sophisticated enough to have escalators, and yes, left at the main exit ( there is only one, you wont miss it) and there is always a crowd, always, no matter what time it is, dont stress, its almost impossible to get lost, the walking route is all on mainish roads, not dingy...
