i dont understand why they force the maths / science type people to do english, but they dont force the artsy people to do maths and science.

yeah the assesment marks are changed to make them fair across all schools, for example, a 90 assesment mark at james ruse would not equal a 90 assesment mark at some small povo westie school (like mine), so the smaller school one gets lowered to like 80. They have to do that other wise schools...

my friend got 99+ and is doing agriculture, with a cut off in the low 70's. I think thats great, good on her. (she topped the state in agriculture last year by the way) And there is still a reason to work hard even if you only need a low UAI - SCHOLARSHIPS!!!!!!
