WTF are you going on about? Read my post carefully. I said that there are no Tablet PC's which are labelled as Centrino's to my knowledge. This is a guess, based on the fact that Tablet PC's really have only taken off this year, and that the Centrino brand name given to the mobile wireless...

A Radeon will serve you well. Right now the FX series really just cannot compete with the 9700's. We'll see with further driver revisions though. So in other words, right now, ATi have the Graphics Accelerator Crown over nVidia.

Not just that. They have inbuilt wireless capabilities, longer battery life, and perform on par with a higher GHz P4-M at lower GHz i.e. a 1.6GHz Centrino can keep up with in performance against a P4-M 2.4GHz. Come again?

No. Centrino's are not Tablet PC's - as of yet anyway.

RAM out there are generally of reasonable quality, and so can take the increased FSB w/o many problems. Of course the high end expensive RAM brands can take extremely low latency settings, but most cheaper mainstream RAM brands can bear with the increased setting w/o too much problems.

A few extra FPS' in a game would be better gained by o/cing the vid card. I'd o/c when encoding videos or for F@H - CPU intensive things. But seeing as P4(C)s are so easy to o/c these days, most people do it just so they can say "I o/ced my CPU!!".

From OCAU. Edit: Perhaps your motherboard reports realistic temps but I do seem to remember awhile ago another fiasco with Abit reporting unusually high temperatures in an Atomic issue. But that was ages ago :(

Infrared thermometers are cool, but some motherboards determine temperature through a predetermined formula or something - I know Abit does this :(
