    analyzing australias economic indicatiors

a good place to start would be your textbook - actually understand what the concepts are. then, after you've done that, go look up some stats at the abs website or the rba website, and it'll make more sense once you've done that.

    Questions from interested 08ers.

yeh, the change of scene is tempting. Also, i have this idea in my head that since most eco jobs are in the government sector and have something to do with parliament, that going to ANU would boost my job prospects. now i just need someone to tell me if thats correct or if i've got it wrong.

Definitely China - not only does it have a load of info out there, but it is the best example of globalisation. Don't worry about what everyone else is doing, just focus on making your essay great.

    Textual Integrity ???

The above is the most correct definition of textual integrity. More simply, it is just textual unity. It is a concept that suggests that every element of the text contributes to the whole, ie each theme, technique, language feature or scene has significance to the big picture, and helps...

    HSC Marking Guidelines

I'm a bit confused about exactly how the marking criteria works. Do they set standards for each band before the HSC test is taken, or do they mould the marking guidelines according to the performance of that year group? It seems a bit dodgy to change the criteria. Anyone know?

    Applications of Calculus

    this is probably a better way of setting the answer out: population increases most rapidly at point of inflextion, ie, when d^2P/dt^2 = 0 d^2P/dt^2, ie the second derivative = 12 - 6t 12 - 6t = 0 6t = 12 therefore, t = 2 check for concavity change when t = 3, 2nd derivative = -6 . . ...

    Memorising Essays

don't memorise essays - despite what people say, its not the best way to go about it. (i'm assuming we're talking about english) rather, know some key points that you would like to discuss in an essay really well, and then mould these discussion points to the question you get. if we're...

    Applications of Calculus

    a) dr/dt = -k therefore, r = integral (-k) dt = -kt + C since d = 5 when t = 0 ie when t = 0, r =5/2 therefore, C = 5/2 therefore r = -kt + 5/2 b) (this bit i'm not too sure about, somebody check this) when t = 12, r = 0 (since dissolved) *substitute...

    trials

Timetables don't really work for me either, but you may want to try making a few short term goals ie like a "to do" list every 2 weeks, and try and finish everything on that list within the time frame. That way you can work on a subject you feel like doing.

    trials

the amount of time you need to prepare for trials really depends on your style of studying and what you think is reasonable to address all your subjects - everyone has their own opinons on how much time is needed to do this, but really you have to make that decision. In short, to answer your...

    Current Budget and Economic Effects

Here's some stuff off the top of my head: - we are directing our resources into investment in education and technology, which will increase our productive capacity, alleviating the extent of current supply contraints + reducing inflationary pressures. - greater taxation for high income...

Drop To 10 Units Or Not??

12 units is really risky, i wouldnt recommend it unless you're really confident with all your other subjects. rather, see if you can try and manage your time better so you can spend quality time on each subject.
