how can u get a raw of 90+ in 3u... my aim is 77+ for ext 1 and 100+ for ext 2.. i have no idea where that will take me but im perfectly happy with a HSC mark of anything above 95 for math

other subjects have similar scaling except math.. try put 90 for chem and for esl.. i think esl scales even better than chem and phy in high-mark ranges becoz its harder to get there in esl

i think its prob. not a good idea to attend a 400ish ranking school and do 4u math.. coz its the subject that u really need to discuss with students of similar ability to u and i think little people will be able to do this with u in a low-ranking school plus. u r much more in risk as u will be...

i've decided to do the same for japanese continuers but then i start to feel guilty about not studying it = =...

i think if the question says "show that the volume of xxx can be expressed as xxx" then u ought to do it from first principle.. but if it is just find the volume of xxx then u can use shortcuts... thats what i've been doing.. using the formula is so much easier LOL..saves precious time

i'd say studying chinese without a teacher is REALLY hard.. but if u have the passion.. go for it

i dont think you can pass the level 2... jap ext and the proficiency test have different emphasis. with ext being USING jap and proficiency testing ur grammar and vocab etc.
