What raw marks are we all aiming for in the hsc (1 Viewer)

Its sweet and simple, what are we all aiming for.

What would a raw mark of 95-110 out of 120 on the 4unit paper get you. Also what would a raw mark of 74-78 out of 84 get you on the 3unit paper.

Well these are what I can achieve so far when I attempt the papers.

The 4unit one does not include mechanics/hard 3unt.

I belive I can pick up all the marks on Q's 1,2,3,4.. which leaves 5,6,7 to work on.

btw, harder 3 unit is 30% of a 4 unit paper
and mechanics questions can be of upto 12 marks.. and it's happened before..

3 unit = 76/84 = 90% ---> Aligned to 95% I reckon.
4 unit = 102/120 = 85% ---> Aligned to 95% I reckon.

lol yeah sorry i forgot about q8...

i can get full mark from q1-4 but 5 i can get like 12/15 same goes for 6and 7 and 8 well it depends on the question.. xD

That's what I reckon.

I thought I got about 86-88 in Chem but I got 94 in HSC.

And I thought I got 82-86 in Eco but I got 92 in HSC.

im aiming for about 90+ in extension 1 and 85+ in extension 2 (final).

What are the Raw marks needed to get an E4 for MX1 and MX2?

EX1 I heard is around 70+/84
EX2 I'm not too sure.

for ext 2 the median across the state is 50% so you will probably want 75%+ for a band 6 as a rough guess... essentially you should finish Q1-4 in about an hour (maybe a little more) because of the exams i have done for practice the last 4 Qs take almost twice as long due to mainly harder 3U (which ends up being about whether u have seen the type of Q or not) and volumes/mechanics. personally i want a raw mark of about 90% which is around 110. but in reality as long as you do all the Qs you can do as well as you can, you cant do any better.

thats pretty high.. I dont know about my self if i can get 90+ raw mark...

I think without a doubt ill get 80-90+ raw out of 120 well the other i need to work on.

hittin the 100's would be a dream come true xD

Mm tis weird because I finished my trial with half an hr to go.

I dunno, depends on the difficulty of the paper i guess. So far im averaging high 70's courtesy of a major stuff up in half yearlies.

AIM 100-110/120. Now having done the trials i just gotta go over my weak areas and do inntensive question 7 and 8 training lol.

3u ill be trying to get every mark, but u always find ways of loosing marks in 3u. For my mx1 trial i did q7 first tactiacally the line of attack was genius . I looked at q-1-6 and it was piss easy u could tell the answer by looking at the q. Or maybe it was the 5 day break i had to do a shit load of 3u past papers. But im looking for an e4 hopefull

my aim is 77+ for ext 1 and 100+ for ext 2..
i have no idea where that will take me but im perfectly happy with a HSC mark of anything above 95 for math
