    All done. Done and dusted.

Just thought I'd let you know I'm finished my HSC. Finished on my Modern History exam, and 26 pages later, I have a dead wrist, but am so excited about it being over. Good luck to everyone else! Viva la end to the HSC.

General Thoughts: Modern History 2008 HSC Exam

Re: Howd you find it? Loved it! Core was nice and easy. I then did China - and the question was regarding the WHOLE period, 1927 - 1949. OMG <3 I then did Sun Yat-Sen, question fit him well, as he wasn't a 'winner', so I objected to the quote. Then I did Indochina, which again was the whole...

    So uh...

I think I'll get like 70/120. Maths is my weakest subject, and you know, I love 1-5(and I loved question 8 :P)...but then, question 9 and 10 hurt me, and yeah... Yay for no more Maths! Shame I'm going into Accounting, haha - (I like to tell myself that Accounting uses more adding etc...which I...

    Modern History is nearing.

I'm so excited...I love Modern. <3 I'm expecting the Role of Women and Reasons for the stalemate for WWI. Then for China(1927 - 1949), I'm not sure what they'll ask Then Sun Yat-Sen - Not sure either Then Indochina, not sure again. :P I love how my topics all flow on from one another. It's...

    I love BoS this year!

Indeed. I think a fair proportion of the state wouldn't have done well. People who use BoS generally wish to excel in subjects, or troll of course, heh, however the things people say on these forums, are generally from those who do well in their courses. So, I guess a lot of us represent the...

    noninfectious disease?

I said there is no cure. SO I stated that constant care is required. I also stated that programs have been developed to aid people with down syndrome to lead a better quality of life. I think that's all there is? *Shrug*

    noninfectious disease?

Yeah I said it was hereditary, a mutation in the chromosomes...yada yada, said it can't be caught, hence being 'non infectious' :P I made some points that were obvious, but you know...science markers may be docile. *Shrug* :P

    Option: Communication

It is when it asks you to gather information from secondary sources. There is a big push for multiple sources to be obtained, to ensure information gathered to be reliable. So yes, indeed that is needed to obtain full marks!

    General Thoughts - Biology

Designing the experiment is fine, that's what I did. But then you had to show how obtaining secondary data can also aid in this. Did you mention that? Things such as reliability through using multiple sources etc.?

    General Thoughts - Biology

Hmm, I just said the eye and the ear. My god I'm an idiot. I wonder what they'll give me for that, heh - because they are, in a way, receptors. Eek

    multiple choice answers

SAME...and now I have a headache. :( heh, whose to say we even have the right answers. BoS could say that the sky is green, and we walk on the ceiling. *Shrug*...it is a government thing after all... :P

    General Thoughts - Biology

I said that as well, I simply said 'waste products', and gave an example of Carbon Dioxide. Not sure what they were looking for specifically..

    General Thoughts - Biology

Oh, the changing chemical structure of the blood question. What substances are removed from the brain? I said the oxygen level is less after passing through the brain, however what is removed, ie, what does the blood's chemical form change to whilst going through the brain?
