Nopeys, they don't know what's in this year's paper. There are probably just a handful of people who've seen each subjects paper, and all paper's are held under HIGH security - it's crazy!

Wow Cheap Thrills - they're the marks I got in my trial as well, heh. I'm thinking if we get those marks, or a little higher, we will deffinitely get a high band 5, hopefully a low band 6. :)

Generally they wouldn't specify a specific poem, however they could AIM the question at specific poems, for instance their themes differ, ie. A question on love, would use different poems to a question on death.

Congrats to your brother! I was addicted to that at the start too, heh... My biggest distractions are the radio(competitions), TV, BoS and just anything that I can do that gets me out of studying - cleaning, making something, eek!! But I've still managed about 7 hours in a day, need to pick it...

I go.. 16th - Business Studies 17th - English AoS 20th - English Modules 24th - Biology 27th - Mathematics 28th - Modern History. So mine are fairly packed together, heh. 19 days from today, I'm all finished. Scary!

I'm doing past papers daily for every subject. I'm just wondering, what do people think is the most effective way of doing these. Reading the question, looking at the answers, then attempting it, looking at the syllabus after reading the question and getting an asnwer, then checking it, or just...

If you do just 10 subjects, you're more vulnerable I think. If you do your HSC, and flunk in one of your exams...that crappy mark will count. However, if you do 12 units let's say - if you stuff one up, it doesn't count. It's a debated question. Having 12 units can mean more time on another...

I'm doing 12 units, I'm 99% sure Mathematics won't count for me...basically because my other 10 units are all in the high 80s and 90's.

Well I put my application in the day that applications opened, back in August! Yet I have not received a letter, or is there anything in the Correspondence tab. My courses are locked in, but I didn't receive a "confirmation letter". Evil UAC.

This is an interesting topic. I've always thought ranks were fine, however marks were not (although we all do the calculations ourselves, heh). My school has posted the cumulative ranks for English, however the other subjects I've just had to ask my teachers, whom provided me with the rank...

Basically I just like to see what people think. It's interesting to get a large amount of responses, so that I can see what others think, then compare these to a number of calculators. I also like to use them as an indication of what other marks people are getting, allowing me to identify marks...

After the trial results, I've ended up 1st in Biology, 1st in Business Studies, 1st in Modern History, 8th out of 38 in Advanced English and 11th out of 15 in 2U Mathematics and still sitting on around 90% for Accoutning, however ranking is unknown. Any other suggestions? Heh, thanks.

Hmm. I was trying several calculator's, and they were spitting out more 90+ results. I sure hope it's more than merely 80s. :/ Heh, well I've begun working my butt off for the finals, so I guess I'll have to try and ace all of these last exams, to boost me right up there. :)

It's in the 400's. I don't know how reliable the whole school rank thing is - last year's year 12 seemed particularly dumb at my school, heh. But yeah, in the 400's, which looks dreadful.
