The only way I see to fairly compare uni subject load without bias is by HECS. Are you doing a .500 HECS load a semester? Then you are doing a full load and not more or less, are you doing a .625? then you are doing slightly more than other people. I have done a 1.000 load per semester before...

The way you carry yourself in lectures and tutorials will also influence your marks :)

Some unis/lecturers consider handing an assignment in before 8/9am as being handed in the day before. Also try talking to the lecturer about it and perhaps get some fake tears ready and a sob story.

Stat100 is a great class, I should know I failed it a number of times :) It's a wake up call for many. Uni isn't really "hard" it's just "different". Some people can handle different some people can't, i've seen people who struggled at school go brilliantly at uni and ones who went well...
