    nah doesnt work like that. its like any other office job etc where is a shitload of stuff to do. Most systems need constant monitor, upgrades etc. There is a new upgrade each day. (source: i work in IT)

    nope no free time. working, internship + contact hours, and involved in a few societies. So recently my life is so hetic. But my internship should finish this week hopefully i can have some downtime at the end of the week.

    welcome to uni and fucking start self teaching cunts. There is a reason no one goes to lectures, because most of them arent great and more academia stuff and teach on the side (for many teaching is just so they are employed) and more interested in research etc. Thats why after week 4 lecture...

    lol you dont get 85/hr thats what the firm gets. You get more like 15/hr. Seriously if you look at pay only, cadetship pay is not that great (30-33k a year for fulltime work). but the experience and long term $$$

    yeah knocking colleges down is true. There going to build more, UNSW is building more accom so more people come to it over sydney. Seriously so much accom on campus and decently priced at some colleges. hey acorn there isnt any fat chicks at unsw due to the stairs, so might want to avoid it.
