    Trig question

You don't really know that they're arrogant and selfish. They just worked hard. What if they wanted to get into a double degree with Law or wanted to get into medicine so they could help ppl.

    Trig question

Tbh, the guys that get 99.95 and/or HD WAMs work their ass off for it. So they should have a lot of specialist knowledge in their subject areas and probably do. Plus, they deserve some monetary compensation for the loss in time, social life, sport/recreation time etc. for the year/s they spent...

    Trig question

I think you've answered your own question. Why don't you study like crazy and get a HD WAM instead of helping people online. This way people will seek your tuition.

    Trig question

@ Genius2014: There are a ton of really good mathematicians on this site. If you guys stop, there will always be others capable of answering q's on a voluntary basis. Eg; If a question goes unanswered for a few days, someone will answer it, as it's presumed difficult and worthy of one's time...

    complex polynomials

    1) cis5A=(cos(A)+isin(A))^5 Expand the RHS and then equate the reals. It's better if you do it as it'll give you some practice. 2) Let x=cos(A) and cos(5A)=0. <=> cos(5A)=0=16x^5-20x^3+5x (divide by x here) <=> cos(5A)=0=16x^4-20x^2+5 (you have a typo here) => cos(5A)=0=cos(+-(2n+1)*pi/2)...

Oh ok, I was thinking of going to the Blacktown RTA one. Everyone said that Castle Hill's the hardest because of the constant stopping. Thanks for the advice :)

    P's test at Castle Hill

I think he got 103/108. I've heard that it's pretty hard to pass the P's test in the Hills area (where I live) so i'm doing the test somewhere else where it's easier to drive. How long does the test typically go for?

    Math1251/1151 ..

fml, my enrolment for Actl1001 is screwed. Emailed head of undergrad actuarial studies and the admin but the comment of "We'll fit you in when there's enough space" isn't promising as there's already space but nothing has been done :(

What mark are you expecting in 4 unit?

Take as much time as you need, if you find a question difficult then skip it and come back to it

    Semester One Results/Predictions

They scale all the marks apparently so u'd need raw data. Alternatively, you could ask the Lecturer in Charge for your marks. I'm sure they'd be happy to give them out.
