Nahh man, no UMAT required for JCU med or dent. I had my application reviewed by people on MSO; some of whom received an interview offer and got accepted into med.
They all said that my application was good and should've been enough for an interview. Though it wasn't perfect as I could've...
Yes, I ardently desire medicine and it's been something that I've been chasing for a while now. I even applied interstate (JCU) and didn't get in. I don't know if I ever will though! Law somewhat fascinates me, but I don't think I have a genuine interest in it as I do for medicine. I will still...
I'm not so sure bro. I think I'll go to USYD. UTS is a great uni, and I'm so proud of it :)
I would have defs stayed at UTS if it was between USYD Commerce/IT and UTS Business/IT!
We'll hangout sometime after you're back lol
I just don't know if I will survive!!!
Before I get to the main focus of this post, I will introduce myself:
Graduated from Liverpool Boys High School with an ATAR in the mid-80's. (Not a very sound school academically; ranked 646/660 this year).
I came 1st in Biology, 1st in IT VET, 1st in IPT, 4th in Chemistry and 5th in Advanced...
Umat halted my plans this year :(
I perhaps should give it a shot again next year!
Regardless, medicine is highly competitive and not meant for everyone.
95 is a great ATAR and your parents should be very proud of you. Now to answer your question: DO NOT REPEAT.
There are many pathways that you can follow to attain your goals. Perhaps, you should sit down and ask yourself what you really want to do, what can you see yourself doing in the future...
Re: A direct and harsh honest question to MQ/UTS students. DO you ever feel embarrass
Most of the grads there did a combined degree of Business/Law and were working in assurance and auditing.
I'm confident that you're trolling again :P
I thought you were transferring to Macquarie Law/Commerce!
Anyways, here is my insight into Pharmacy.
1. The cut-off last year was 90.05, not 85 (I applied and got an offer myself). The 85 was a projection, and as a result of this low projection, alot...
Since you withdrew before Census date, you have not done the course.
'Withdrew without academic results' is after the census date, i.e. 2 months into the course when your uni fees are in play.
So I would say not started! But maybe check with them for a third time just to be sure, it wouldn't...
same... some people I know left the MCs blank (for those they were unsure of).
I really hope that they don't deduct any marks. But they shouldn't as they mentioned it in their document.
Thanks for the clarifications.
Just a general question. If someone gets into interstate med/dentistry, is it possible to transfer to another uni?
From what I've heard, it is only possible under extreme circumstances (i.e. seriously ill family member, psychological stress etc)?
Do you have anyone...
