TO answer your question, Fitzpatrick does explain abit of theory but he mainly uses examples to illustrate the theory. The theory in fitzpatrick doesnt go into alot of depth like cambridge.
Build exam technique and confidence by doing past papers under exam conditions. Do enough until you feel confident with yourself that you didn't make any silly mistakes.
Also while in the exam, make sure you read the question carefully before proceeding to doing the question.

You pick your core EDUF1018, then for the remaining units you pick subjects that are business/eco related. There should be a list of units to pick from on enrolment day (from memory).
Briefly, PHYS1001 is an intermediate unit and is quite a demanding course. It is more suited to students who have done HSC physics and gotten at least a band 5. It is highly recommended that you have done at least 2U mathematics; preferably extension 1/2.

You are "meant" to do a research project with the assistance of a teacher in year 7-8 (stage 4). In year 9-10 (stage 5), the task is to be done individually. But I guess not all schools follow it....dodgy haha :P
I sincerely hope no one is stupid enough to post up the full working solutions for your assignment for you. It is an assignment because the teacher wants you to collaborate with peers to get an answer. Your original post is implying you want the whole solutions done for you.
