Changing course preferences- can I delete the course which I already got an offer in?

Re: Changing course preferences- can I delete the course which I already got an offer You wouldn't even leave it in the list - you cannot get another offer for it as you already have one...

Main Round and Late Round situation?

Just ignore it. They'll send you a letter probably stating that as you applied after main round cut-off you were not considered for your preferences...

Yeah, I just want to work so I don't end up broke by the end of first year :P I also wouldn't mind being able to afford to go to the gym twice a week so I don't get fat from studying all the time.

I think mine is looking worse at this stage (tutes aren't included for stat and anth). I've got 12 hours of lectures (2 hours of which have clashes), and then like 12 hours of tutes/practicals, then added time for study and phb research :/ oh yeh, and I'm looking to work 6 hours. clearly, my...

    Chemistry Questions

Re: Salt bridge and migration of ions In that last link, I found something interesting: "Yes, salt bridges have a limited life span - they loose their ions to the half cells solutions. We usually select ions in salt bridges in such a way they are inert for the researched process, so their...

    Chemistry Questions

Re: Salt bridge and migration of ions Well all ions present have some role to play in carrying their respective charges (obviously). The salt bridge just acts as a wire, or a highway for charges to flow through, without the two half cell solutions having direct contact with one another...

    Chemistry Questions

Re: Salt bridge and migration of ions see this diagram: http://www.splung.com/fields/images/batteries/CuZncell.gif let's say electrons have just migrated to the cathode. The overall cell will be unequal in charge and so to neutralise this charge (SO4)2- ions from the cathode solution will be...

    Chemistry Questions

Re: Salt bridge and migration of ions Here's a good thread on this topic: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/archive/index.php/t-722358.html "The salt in the solution can run out, but a salt bridge is the path for the anions to travel. For every anion that adds on one end, another falls off the...

    St Marys Senior High

If you're looking for an "independent" school, for "independent" learners, then I suggest that you go to TAFE and not St Mary's High. I personally know people who went there and for the most part I can say that they are dole bludgers now. I am very much aware that this does not represent all...

How to prepare for year 11

If you will be studying mathematics, I suggest you read ahead and start teaching yourself the first few chapters in the book. Of course you don't have to do this - this is just something that I did and it really helped me.

Are you serious? It's 'far away' if you are missing a leg, yes. Otherwise you can just walk it - it's not far. Alternately, you can bike it or take the dedicated bus. Geez.
