Good post! I found out commerce wasn't for me pretty soon and changed from eng/comm to elec eng/comp sci and comp sci really complements EE so im happy with it. For commerce I also agree that getting an MBA or MBT after working in engo would be better as opposed to just an undergrad commerce degree.
Well in 07 they didn't offer 1917/1927 to anyone so CSE majors had to do 1911/1921 it anyway. But I believe there would be many differences in the amounts covered of those courses offered this year.

unsw has aerospace but telecomm doesn't seem to have any specific satellite design electives although the other electives combined might help you there but overall elec or telecomm is a more solid and broad choice.
I would go with elec/maths but you should do elec/commerce if you really are interested in commerce otherwise it will be really boring and you wont do well even compared to engo courses. Im guessing you initially wanted to elec and then decided to add something on there?

Well no one really knows because they can't test anything it predicts yet, but the Large hadron Collider is going to start operation in August this year so we might know the answer very soon.
