    your only in year 10, you have lots of time to work on chem and physics. im doing prelim course now, with ext math and eng + all sciences and the work is not that much. I said go with chem + phys combo because they are some of the best scaling subjects. You have loads of time to manage those...

    it doesnt matter which direction you define to be positive they both produce the same answer. I just defined 42 to be positive.
