Look at the UoS outline; you'll be doing other things like z-tests, t-tests, simple regression etc. Sounds like you'll be lucky and find it to be a relatively straight forward subject :)

Bumping this thread.. Midsems are not so close atm (obviously) but omg looking at the textbook for acct2011 makes me zzz. The chapters are quite lengthy with ridiculously tiny font. We only have a midsem exam and a final exam, so I'm just wondering if anyone who's done FIN A can advise me on...

Hmm I'm not sure, I'm transferring from usyd to unsw and it says: "...'Application for Credit Transfer' (to which you should attach certified copies of your academic transcript/s and course descriptions)..."

Hmm the ACCT1001 outline is slightly different to the one I got in 2009, it shouldn't make too much of a difference but if anyone has a copy of the 2009 one, please let me know. Thanks!

Does anyone work at easyway? Or know someone who does? Are their any conditions for employment (e.g. fluent in specific languages other than english?) I saw an advertisement for employment, was considering it...

Perdisco isn't always easy for someone who's only just started learning about accounting. It isn't insanely hard either. It's just a lot to remember and making sure you've taken absolutely everything into consideration.

Oh you have to go to webCT. They're not out on the results page yet. Raw marks for each section, the scaled mark and the final grade is given. There's also a final results FAQ on the home page. :)
