Oh, is this for customers, I thought you meant like a staff thing.

Wow, that sounds awesome, how much do you pay for a ticket?

Does anyone here know why I would have been paid at "Ord 1.22" (about 20c more an hour) for a shift I did on saturday?

We get that too, like with all the Masterchef stuff that started the other week. But I will tell you, people are noticing the fall in budgets, I've had a few comments from customers that they've started to prefer shopping over on our side.

I'm not trying to be a troll here, but as a casual observer it really seems like Woolworths cut way too much from their front-end budgets.

We do even less than that at Coles.

Yeah, when they put up the "Top 3" they exclude the regular supervisors and people who only go on register when it's "priority one"

Mine was 11/minute, across 7.5 hours I scanned ~1700 items.

I'll have to check what my actual rate is. and yes, i have

If your normal rate is 17.50 at 130% of part-timer's wage, then you should get $37.69 as the public holiday rate (280% of normal part-time wage)

Woot, got a block of Dairy Milk for having the highest scan rate for the week, apparently they're caring about that again now.

Well, I know the register hangers aren't coming down until sometime in August. We have our aprons at the service desk to go back when you've finished your shift, but I'm sure nobody would mind if you took one home once it's all done if you really want to. And seriously, could their be any...

Of course I did. I also ended up helping with the POS for the Masterchef. I really think Coles goes over the top, I think banners across aisles 1-6, giant posters on the windows, signs hanging from above the registers, signs on the security things, signs on the trolleys and making front end...

With express item counts, do you mind if it's say a larger number of small items like 20 kiwi fruits or something like that plus some other items? I guess it's not so bad for us because we still have a quantity button :P

Work just rang and asked If I wanted to do 5 hours tomorrow night "cleaning some stuff around the service desk and registers" I didn't think they were that dirty!

How can you only leave 2 $50 notes??
  17. B

    The Woolworths Thread

If it's during the day time on a busyish day then I'll leave 8 x $50's and probably 5-6 x $20 notes but if it's heading into the night I'll probably just leave 5 or 6. When we close we're supposed to keep the drawers under $1000 so I'll make sure I do enough of a clearance to get it under that...

Woolworths bagels are yummy. All we have like that are our bread rolls, on the computer there's like 20 different buttons yet we sell like 9 different kinds of rolls. I pretty much put them all through as a "round white roll" or a "cheese and bacon roll"

You should do it with a basket of real produce because so many times the pictures can look nothing like the actual fruit/veg, especially with potatoes. They got rid of 'washed potatoes' and split it up into like five different kinds, three of which look exactly the same.
